Chic Fall Decor

I think the second the clock struck midnight on Halloween everyone threw out their pumpkins. I know it seems that every year Christmas gets pushed further up as department stores start carrying Christmas decor earlier and earlier, but this year was something else completely. I think because of this global pandemic, everyone needed something to look forward to and maybe a little extra holiday cheer so it seems we’re all skipping Thanksgiving? Or maybe rather, that Thanksgiving’s theme this year is Christmas? Who knows. This year has been all out of whack. We’re usually really big on Halloween and go all out for costumes and decorations, but this year we kept it pretty low key. I put up our Fall decor in September and loved how it turned out so I decided pretty early on that I wouldn’t make the transition to Halloween decor this year, but instead spend a little more time with all my pumpkins out!

Now that Halloween has passed, I’m definitely being influenced by all the holiday stuff online and all over Instagram and so I thought I better put together a Fall decor and tablescape post before I fully embrace the trend and go full blown Christmas soon (not going to lie – I did already buy another tree to put in our newly finished office).

So here it is! Fall decor just as everyone is wrapping it up. HomeGoods is always my go-to and I found such beautiful high-quality wreaths this year. Most everything else are things I’ve collected over the years, but I’ll link what I can and find other options when I can’t. These velvet pumpkins (along with these smaller ones) I ordered last year are gorgeous and I could continue to add to my collection forever, but I don’t have the storage space!

I’m curious what everyone else’s Thanksgivings will look like this year. We’re still not sure how we’ll celebrate… and I’m not sure how long I’ll hold out before decking the halls…
