A Classic Quilted Jacket

California + global warming and I’ve been feeling like I’d never get my crisp Fall weather I love so much. I was starting to worry that we’d jump from Summer to Winter without those sunny, but cool days – the ones where you can swear light sweaters and jackets, but can still have bare ankles and not get cold (or does that only happen to me?). But it seems like Fall has finally arrived and I could not be more excited! I’ve had this Barbour coat since August when I snagged it at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It was exactly what I’d been looking for! I’ve always loved the Burberry quilted jackets; they look classic and chic and are great for a lighter layer, but they come with a hefty price tag that I could never justify. I came across the Barbour brand around last year or the year before when Julia Berolzheimer posted some of their jackets and thought they had a very similar look, so when I saw one on sale in my favorite color I knew I had to have it!
