Timeless Tweed

On a trip to London a few years ago, Brendan and I popped into a shop full of the most classic tweed wool coats. It felt quintessentially English and we had maybe too much fun trying on different styles. We both ended up making a purchase and the quality is unmatched. Mine has greys, browns and greens woven together with a chocolate brown velvet trim at the pockets and collar. It’s a piece I feel like I’ll own forever and once that I can imagine passing down since it’s such a timeless style. It’s pretty similar to this gorgeous coat (currently on sale!). Brendan coat a sports coat and matching vest which are equally timeless. I love investing in pieces I know I’ll own forever and it’s even more fun when you get them on a memorable trip, so each time I pull this one out I can reminisce. I definitely recommend a trip to London, but in case that’s not quite in the cards, I’ve rounded up some tweed coats you can get a little closer to home. This one is a splurge, but has me drooling! I also love the belted look of this one, it would pull you in at the waist in just the most flattering way. I have this lady coat in a different fabric, but this tweed and caramel color on this one with the contrasting buttons is so chic.
