Tablescapes for Spring

One of my favorite parts of entertaining at home are the tablescapes! I hardly ever leave a HomeGoods trip without a runner or table cloth or cloth napkins — my collection has gotten to be pretty expansive so any excuse to use them will do. I knew I’d want to host something for Easter after coming across this darling rabbit tablecloth. I usually try to keep my table clothes more versatile, but I just couldn’t pass on this one.

I found this beautiful floral fabric at an antique shop and immediately knew I wanted to make it into a tablecloth for spring and summer. It’s loud, but somehow felt like it would work really well with some other things I had. I want to play more with mixing patterns and this seemed like a good place to start. I ended up layering a yellow and white runner I got from Target a few years ago on top and did two different napkins, one a light blue and white checkered and a sage green with white stripes.

I’ve been collection gold candlestick holders for a while and came across these with ornate gold bows at local antique shop and I knew immediately they’d come home with me. I mixed this faux green garland with an arrangement of yellow roses and hydrangeas I put together from some grocery store finds and it pulled all the colors together nicely.

While I don’t have links to exact products here, I highly recommend checking out your local HomeGoods (or Marshalls if you don’t have a HomeGoods near you) for table settings. They have so much good stuff and really affordable prices. Target, World Market and even Amazon have some great options as well.
