If you know me, you know I love green. I consider it a neutral right there with blacks, browns, whites and navy. So it’s no surprise I jumped at this mossy green sweater or that I think it’s perfectly acceptable to layer green on green. I’ve been navigating finding my style again (talked about it more in length here) and one thing I’ve been seeing as a “trend” for fall and winter, but that still feels really classic and timeless is silk scarves. I’ve been pulling mine out more often to add some extra interest or color to an otherwise mildly boring outfit. I added this vintage Hermès scarf from my grandma with this outfit I wore to pick out our Christmas tree and it instantly elevated what I was wearing, while still letting me feel practical for navigating an excited toddler through rows of trees. I also have to sing these boots praises. I don’t think they make them anymore, but I did find one site that still has some sizes. They are comfortable, chic and weatherproof suede… you heard that right. I love the slightly square toe, the minimal heel and the richness of the color. They’re great with jeans and also skirts and dresses—couldn’t ask for more!
