Eco-Friendly Swaps for Your Home

I don’t know about you, but in the past few years I’ve been thinking more and more about the choices I’m making at home and what affects they have on the environment. I try to buy less single-use products, like makeup remover wipes, dryer sheets, plastic wrap etc. and always bring my reusable grocery bags to the store. This year some friends of mine started an eco-friendly home and lifestyle company, The Sister Collective, so if you’re looking to support small, women owned businesses AND care about the environment, you should check them out! I upped my grocery store game by buying their reusable produce bags to go along with my grocery bags and couldn’t pass up the net bag, which made me nostalgic for one my mom had growing up. I bought the cream colored one, but it comes in a bunch of fun other colors too, when I saw the plum color, I almost changed my order.

A couple other useful items I picked up include their food huggers in blue and reusable ziplock bags. I bought both the standup version and some sandwich bags. And you can’t go wrong with wool dryer balls or stainless steel straws.
