Dusty Blue Sweater

My love for sweaters has, I’m sure, not gone unnoticed (certainly not by my husband who sees me constantly struggling with the under-the-bed storage that holds my ever-growing collection). But usually when January hits, I’ve already begun to get tired of my sweaters or they feel too “holiday”. I may or may not have a few too many red ones, which is a color I wear often year round, but in January makes me feel like I’m still trying to hold on to the Christmas spirit. After holiday sweaters, I own all the basic light neutrals you can think of – the tans, the creams, the light greys, the is this any different than the other one I was just holding up ones… (see one of my favorites here). So when I came across this beautiful dusty blue sweater the other week it felt fresh and fun and perfect for the January blues (making it the perfect excuse to continue to add to my collection… I swear it’s the last one). Despite the name “moonstone green” that it’s listed as on the website, this sweater is not even a little bit green. It so soft and the cowl neck keeps you cozy without suffocating you. It’s a little bit cropped, but not so much so that you couldn’t do a front tuck.
