Lately I’ve been much more excited getting Levi dressed for the day than myself. Maybe it’s the postpartum body (maybe it’s the pandemic body turned postpartum body) or maybe it’s just that we’ve been spending a lot more time at home, but his outfits are just more fun and he’s often dressed while I’m in lounge clothes all day. It is something I’m trying to work on because I know I always feel better when I’m more put together and I’m even more excited to get put together AND have Levi dressed in a well-coordinated outfit, but it’s a work in progress.

I’ve been on the hunt for baby basics that are classic and well styled without feeling overly dressed up for the day-to-day. Some of my favorites have been this animal print bodysuit that feels classic and a little vintage paired with these sage green pants. Both come as two-packs and luckily I like the patterns of the other two as well. Does anyone else feel like when they bundle baby clothes there are usually a couple prints/patterns in the bundle that you absolutely don’t like and so you don’t want to buy the bundle and wish you could buy individually? Well that’s not the case here luckily!

These fleece baby booties are not necessarily the cutest, BUT they stay on and so I had to include them. Levi has long, but skinny little feet so finding socks that stay on is difficult and with the cold weather we needed a solution.
