The Perfect Casual Blazer for Work

I work in a startup where there’s practically no dress code. I wear jeans most days, but still enjoy dressing up for work from time to time, even if it means looking a little overdressed compared to the t-shirt clad developers in the office. I try not to acquire too many workwear styles that won’t get much use elsewhere since it is such a casual work environment. When I saw this Topshop blazer at Nordstrom, I knew it was for me. It’s SO good, where do I even start?

The fact that it’s stretchy and soft is a must. I have a hard time sometimes finding jackets that fit well, while still being flattering and do best if there is a little stretch. It also needs to be comfortable while sitting and typing at my desk all day. I love the oatmeal color (although it also comes in a grey-blue that I also wanted!) and thought it would be perfect for spring and summer, but have found it works really well for fall as well. The raw hem makes it a touch more casual, which means I keep finding myself gravitating towards it even on the weekends outside of the office.
