Mallorca, Spain
For the last stop on our trip to Spain, I was thinking we’d spend some time driving around the island of Mallorca and some time at the beach. After having spent the first half of our trip in Barcelona and Seville with packed itineraries, I didn’t really plan much for Maorca. We splurged and stayed at Hotel Valldemossa which is made up of two 19th century stone houses and looks out over the old monastery and that was just about as much as I had looked into booking.
The town of Valldemossa could not have been more picturesque. Minutes away (walking!) from the hotel, you’re in the heart of the sweetest cobblestoned town with perfect, matching green shutters on every window of every building. The entire town is nestled into the mountains of the island in the most magical way. The second we drove into it, we knew we wouldn’t be doing much exploring outside of Valldemossa and would be spending the next couple of days relaxing and enjoying the quiet streets and eating delicious food.
