A Classic Cable Knit Sweater

It’s finally cold enough to wear a sweater AND scarf! I have a love hate relationship with oversized, pullover sweaters. They’re so cozy and warm, they embody fall and winter months, but they can also sometimes look awful, especially if you have a fuller bust. This white cable knit sweater (old similar here) is a bit more fitted, but is a thicker knit so it has some of the benefits of an oversized sweater (it’s more forgiving), but also gives me a little more shape at the same time. I also love that it doesn’t have any wool in it. Unfortunately, over the years I’ve developed a pretty strong intolerance to wool, even if it’s just a small percentage I tend to get really itchy. It’s also cable knit on the front and back, which may seem trivial, but it’s something I always check for now, ever since my best friend pointed out how a lot of them aren’t.

I’m also obsessed with these booties, I threw them into my shopping cart when I was looking for a pair of taller boots during a DSW sale and ended up loving them. They’re a perfect cognac color and shockingly comfortable considering the heel. I love that they look a little more dressy and less western with the leather covered heel than a lot of my other booties and the almond toe is the perfect shape!
