A Buttery Soft Leather Jacket

Some days I feel like I have nothing to wear at all and other days I discover things in my closet that I almost forgot I owned. How does that work? I’ve had this buttery soft leather jacket (old, similar here) for years, but haven’t worn it in ages. I brought it out this weekend for brunch and it was just perfect.

Not only did it match perfectly with my new loafers, but it was the perfect weight for the weather. It was sunny this weekend, but cool and breezy and we walked down to one of our regular spots to eat. A leather jacket is great for keeping you warm, but the shorter length makes it less heavy than a full coat. I love the cognac color of this one because it still gives the moto vibe without some of the edginess of a black leather jacket. I also feel like a classic leather jacket never goes out of style.

Now that I’ve remembered it’s in my closet, I’ll be sure to be pulling it out more this winter and into spring. If you want to invest in a real leather jacket, definitely check out Nordstrom Rack. They have a lot of great options and are often more affordable than other places.
